What is Metabolic Balance®?
Unlike many other diets, Metabolic Balance® programme will teach you a healthy way of eating, for life. It is not a calorie counting diet where you will constantly feel hungry. You will be eating normal natural foods in a way that will not only help you control your weight, but also give you more energy and improve many other aspects of your health too.
Metabolic Balance® is a nutritional programme for healthy weight management. It has been developed in Germany by doctors and nutrition scientists. Based on detailed health information and blood tests you will discover the ideal food combinations and quantities from all major food groups that will help re-boot your metabolism and help you lose weight.
Is it scientifically proven?
In 2010, a year long scientific study was concluded on the Metabolic Balance® programme and was published in the Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism. The study revealed that participation in the nutrition programme led to significant long-term improvements in health status and HRQOL (Health Related Quality of Life).
Metabolic Balance® won the "Medical Wellness Award" in 2009.

How Does It Work In Practice?
Although the detailed contents of your plan will be unique to you, every Metabolic Balance plan is structured according to 4 core stages.
You will be working together with me, your nutritionist and coach, throughout these stages:
Gentle 2 day cleansing that will prepare your body for the plan.
The exciting part of the programme where you will already start seeing results in terms of weight loss and improved health. You will follow your personalised eating plan whilst your metabolism is trained and optimised for peak performance. This phase lasts 14 days.
New foods are added to your plan to broaden your choices. A weekly “cheat” meal will also give you added flexibility. You will stay on Phase 3 until you reach your target weight, so the length of this phase varies from person to person.
Once you are happy with your weight loss goals as well as your health goals, you will enter the final phase of the plan - the rest of your life! By now you will have a much better understanding and ability to make food choices that help you maintain your weight and help you feel healthier and more energised. I will work with you to take the diet to the next level – a healthy way of life.
